Requirements
- 2-3 years proven experience as construction estimation/quantity surveyor particularly in Carpark projects
- Expertise in interpreting and marking up construction plans using Active Take-Off software
- Experience in preparing cost estimates, tenders, and quotes for concrete-related projects, including materials, labor, and overhead analysis
- Familiarity with construction codes and industry standards related to concrete and general construction practices
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing estimates and reviewing plans to avoid costly errors
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD
Responsibilities
- Tender Management: Download and review tenders using a tender software, ensuring all necessary information is captured for accurate estimations
- Plan Mark-Up: Utilize Active Take Off to markup concrete plans, identifying key elements and quantities required for Carpark projects
- Quote Preparation: Prepare detailed quotes and tenders using job management software, ensuring clarity and compliance with client specifications
- Documentation: Raise quotes in job management system, attaching relevant documents and notes to support the estimation process
- Estimating: Perform accurate estimating for quotes and tenders, considering materials, labor, and overhead costs
- Lead Communication: Email leads to obtain additional information as required and promptly input this data into system to maintain an organized workflow
