Summary
Join Clipboard Health, a fast-growing, profitable Series C marketplace connecting healthcare professionals and facilities, as a Platform Engineer. Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform; develop and support backend services using TypeScript, NestJS, and Node.js; manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS; build reusable infrastructure modules; and own the full lifecycle of platform features. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-growth startup environments, managing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, building web and backend systems, and a strong DevOps mindset. Requirements
- You’ve worked in high-growth startup environments or similarly fast-paced, agile teams—and possibly launched something on your own
- You have hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production systems, with a strong DevOps mindset
- You’ve built and supported web and backend systems using modern cloud-native tools and frameworks
- You’re excited by infrastructure as code, automation, and driving platform-level improvements that support other engineering teams
- You enjoy working deeply on technical systems but also communicate clearly and proactively with the team
- Talking to users or teammates to understand pain points and drive solutions energizes you
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring reproducibility, security, and automation across environments
- Develop and support backend services using TypeScript, NestJS, and Node.js, interfacing with MongoDB and Postgres databases to ensure performance and reliability
- Manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services like EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, and more to support application and platform needs
- Build reusable infrastructure modules and internal tooling to empower product engineering teams and improve development velocity
- Own the full lifecycle of platform features: from design and implementation to monitoring and supporting them in production
- Work in a globally distributed, 100% remote team with asynchronous workflows and high ownership culture
