Summary

Join Thrive, a rapidly growing technology solutions provider, as a Platform Engineer. You will be responsible for onboarding new clients, managing tasks, creating documentation, and ensuring the security of our clients through the patching process. This role requires strong technical proficiency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be working with internal staff and clients to support their environments. The position requires working outside of regular business hours as needed. Requirements

  • Possess an Associate degree, technical degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Be an excellent problem solver; able to resolve problems using analytical skills, technical expertise, event logs, or research
  • Be self-motivated, with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Have a solid understanding of Microsoft
  • Have a solid understanding of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Have a solid understanding of Group Policy
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Be able to articulate technical information and convey it to non-technical people
  • Possess excellent customer service skills
  • Be able to work after-hours as tasks dictate
  • Be willing to train, learn, and educate others
  • Be detail-oriented; the position requires high attention to detail
  • Be able to manage multiple tasks of varying priority

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new clients. Assign the tasks and follow up with the implementation team to ensure we have all the information needed for onboarding
  • Work with team members to create and update documentation
  • Review coming tasks and cases and assign them to the proper resources
  • Keep up with education on new features to provide support and training to staff and clients
  • Assist other team members with tasks as time permits

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have knowledge of Kaseya or any other patching products
  • Have experience with Microsoft/Linux Server and Workstation Operating Systems
  • Have experience with ServiceNow
  • Have experience with Visio, Excel, and MS Word
  • Have knowledge of Group Policy administration
