Summary

Join Rush Street Interactive, a leader in online casino and sports betting, as a Poker Analyst. You will play a critical role in analyzing game data to inform business strategies, overseeing gameplay during updates, and developing new poker features. Responsibilities include shaping policies, supporting promotions, collaborating with teams, and designing tournaments. This role requires extensive online poker experience, data analytics skills, and excellent communication. A higher education degree in a STEM field is preferred. Requirements

  • Extensive experience with online poker, ideally as a serious player
  • A passion for poker and deep understanding of the game
  • Proficiency in data analytics and MS Office applications (particularly Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English is required
  • A minimum of 1 + year’s experience in the industry

Responsibilities

  • Analyze game data to provide actionable insights that guide strategic decision-making
  • Oversee gameplay during server maintenance or new feature releases, ensuring smooth pausing and resumption
  • Contribute to shaping policies, rake structures, and feature requirements for all poker game types
  • Collaborate with poker operations on data-related tasks to support ecosystem management and strategic initiatives
  • Partner with the tournament manager to design MTT weekly schedules, including buy-ins, guarantees, blind structures, and payouts
  • Set up and manage various poker game types, including MTTs, Single Table Tournaments, and Cash Games
  • Support poker promotions from idea generation to planning and execution
  • Work with the support and marketing teams to resolve player inquiries effectively
  • Assist the Tournament Manager, Director of Poker Operations, or other poker team members with various tasks as needed
