The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of DBA experience, including 7 years specializing in Postgres, AWS experience, strong knowledge of database design, performance tuning, and security practices, hands-on experience with database replication and high availability configurations, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash.
