Power Platform Technical Consultant

Summary

Join our team as a Power Platform Technical Consultant! This 3-month (with possible extension) 1099 contract position, based remotely anywhere in the US or Canada, requires 5+ years of Power Platform experience. You will design and implement Power Platform solutions for clients, focusing on Power Pages, and collaborate with customers and business analysts. Strong technical skills, communication abilities, and a passion for customer success are essential. The role involves developing solutions using Dataverse, Power Apps, and Power Automate, integrating with third-party applications, and conducting PoCs and demos. You will also create technical documentation and ensure solution quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years working in professional services in a consulting role
• 5+ years of experience in Power Platform Developing; Canvas apps, Model Driven apps and Power Pages sites
• Presenting complex development topics to both business and technical personnel
• Proven experience with Power Pages
• Hands-on experience in developing and registering custom Power Platform plugins
• Having a strong understanding of best practices for environments, security, permissions, and application lifecycle management (ALM)
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks

Responsibilities

• Participate in workshops with customers and business analysts to gather and understand business requirements
• Design and implement technical solutions using the Power Platform (Dataverse, Power Pages, Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Implement integrations with third-party applications, services, and APIs
• Conduct PoCs (Proof of Concepts) and demos to showcase configured Power Platform solutions
• Generate technical documentation to enable successful transition to customers
• Perform quality assurance to ensure the solutions function as expected
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments of the Power Platform and provide ongoing consultation to clients on best practices and new features

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Azure services including App Services, Queues, Service Bus, Function Apps, and Identity Management
• Experience with version control systems and agile / iterative development methodologies
• PL 900 Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals
• PL-200 Power Platform Functional Consultant
• PL-400 Power Platform Developer
• PL-600 Power Platform Solution Architect
