Requirements

  • 8+ years of work experience, including 4+ in product marketing and pricing roles
  • Advanced problem solving and analytical skills, including expertise in Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to understand and articulate the “big picture
  • Ability to gather intelligence from data, present findings and decisions, influence executive stakeholders, and execute independently on initiatives
  • Ability to work across organizational lines, command respect, and influence without authority
  • Proficiency with CPQ and CRM (preferably Salesforce), able to navigate and extract data
  • Proficiency with BI and Data Warehouse tools
  • MBA or advanced degree in finance, economics or related field strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize the company’s sales and market penetration and ensure long-term profitability objectives are met
  • Provide a comprehensive view of the company's competitive pricing position and insight on the impact of pricing changes on profitability and growth rates
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand pricing trends and opportunities
  • Analyze customer data and usage patterns to identify optimal pricing models and segments
  • Design and implement a flexible pricing structure that maximizes revenue growth, profitability, and customer lifetime value
  • Lead A/B testing and other pricing experiments to measure the impact of pricing changes
  • Foster a data-driven culture within the pricing team
  • Oversee the development and implementation of pricing tools and processes
  • Partner with product and marketing teams to ensure pricing aligns with product roadmap and go-to-market strategy
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide support on complex deals and negotiations
  • Collaborate with finance to ensure pricing decisions align with financial goals and budget constraints
  • Continuously monitor market dynamics and competitor pricing strategies
  • Research and implement best practices in SaaS pricing
  • Identify new monetization opportunities and develop business cases for potential implementation
  • Proactively contribute to Tekion’s Value proposition including thought leadership, speaking at professional conferences, etc

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with pricing software and tools
  • Familiarity with SaaS financial metrics and modeling
