Summary

Join Praecipio Consulting as an Atlassian expert, leading client engagements and project delivery. Share deliverables with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring excellent technical implementations and adherence to project timelines. Communicate delivery risks, author change orders, and maintain key documentation. Mentor teammates, foster collaboration, and assist with sales efforts. Serve as a technical advisor to C-level executives and conduct workshops and planning sessions. This role requires extensive Atlassian product expertise and significant consulting experience.

Requirements

• Expert implementation and configuration of Atlassian's suite of products, including Jira (JSM, JSW, JWM, JPD), Confluence, and other related plugins and integrations
• Fully certified and accredited Atlassian Technical Delivery Professional
• Familiar with common and preferred marketplace applications
• Proficient in best practices related to Atlassian Cloud systems and SaaS systems
• Basic knowledge and understanding of; databases and Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Various operating systems, networks, infrastructures and Java Virtual Machine (JVM)
• High-level programming languages (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, PowerShell)
• Active Listening is essential, including the ability to understand client needs, gather requirements, and translate them into effective solutions using Atlassian tools
• This involves verbal and written effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle
• Adaptability and customer orientation during times of change
• Driving technical conversations that drive an actionable solution
• Providing solutions to common problems
• Leverage data to identify trends and improve processes
• Ability to lead and influence others with various levels of experience
• Ability to lead projects to Praecipio standards
• Knowledge sharing with team members and guiding consultants through assigned tasks
• Provide expertise in communities of practice
• Minimum ten years of technical proficiency with Atlassian, Jira (JWS, JSM, JWM, JPD)
• Minimum five years of customer-facing consulting experience with an Atlassian product(s)
• Minimum of three years of project management methodologies and practices including but not limited to Agile, Scrum, Enterprise Service Management, ITIL, ITSM, and associated methodologies
• Atlassian Certified Individual (any two Atlassian Certs), Atlassian Technical Sales Professional & Sales Professional, Atlassian ITSM Sales Professional
• Open to travel up to 25% per quarter to client sites

• Serve as a technical and strategic advisor to C-level executives and key stakeholders
• Conduct technical workshops, product demos, and strategic planning sessions
