Requirements
- 15+ years working with cloud-based environments, advanced application development and support
- 15+ years building cloud applications, specifically within Microsoft Azure
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be able to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Partner with Trility clients, taking them from “napkin to production.”
- Listen to their challenges with empathy while using your unique problem-solving skills to discover the right approach and deliver value throughout the engagement
- Takes a holistic approach to systems analysis and design
- Designs, builds, and develops applications from napkin to production
- Proven thought leadership with the ability to set a strategic vision, guide decision-making, and influence the future direction of DevSecOps practices and cloud architecture
- Understanding of how to deliver in a variety of methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
- Sets and manages best practices in information security, infrastructure, and cloud deployment
- Proponent and expert in utilizing multiple automated testing best practices, such as test-driven development (TDD), and ability to convey the importance of test-based development to clients and teammates
- Azure Active Directory and RBAC expert and able to recommend best practices
- Expert in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and strategies for large-scale provisioning of resources with extensive experience using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
- Designs, builds, and maintains CI/CD based deployments on a variety of toolsets and ability to adapt based on client and project
- Demonstrated expertise in Kubernetes, including deploying, managing, and optimizing containerized applications at scale in a cloud-native environment
- Proficient in cloud networking concepts and practices, with the ability to design and implement networking solutions to support disaster recovery (DR) environments
- Solid understanding of observability tools and practices, with experience using platforms like Dynatrace or Datadog to monitor and enhance system performance and reliability
- Experience with event-driven architectures, including hands-on expertise with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ for building scalable and reliable solutions
- Familiar with modern software source code management and review processes, such as git and pull requests, along with SaaS-based services, such as GitHub, GitLab, and Atlassian Bitbucket
- Designs and implements cloud-native services and tools within Microsoft Azure utilizing various services like Active Directory, AKS, Azure Functions, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Cosmos DB, and Microsoft Defender for the Cloud
