Join Rescale as a Principal Compliance Specialist and contribute to maintaining the company's security and compliance posture. Working under the Director of Compliance, you will collaborate with auditors and government officials, drive large-scale compliance projects, and interact with various teams to gather audit evidence. Responsibilities include leading control implementation, drafting policies, and mentoring junior team members. The role requires experience with multiple compliance audits and familiarity with frameworks like FedRAMP, ISO 27001, and SOC 2. Requirements

• Experience with multiple compliance audits both small and large
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CSA, NIST SP 800 series, ITAR EAR

Responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of the Director of Compliance
• Work directly with auditors and government officials across various security and compliance frameworks such as the NIST SP 800 series, FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, CSA and others
• Work cross-functionally across the company to provide leadership and guidance for security control implementation
• Own and drive large projects that span multiple months, quarters and even years to ensure that Rescale is compliant with the frameworks chosen
• Interact directly with the security team, IT team and other teams to gather evidence for audits
• Help draft policies and procedures that improve compliance and privacy at Rescale
• Provide leadership and support for more junior members of the compliance team

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as CISM, GSLC, Security +CE, CISSO etc
