Summary
Join Caylent, a fully remote global cloud native services company, as a Principal Consultant on our growing Professional Services team. You will lead large-scale technology transformations, act as a trusted advisor to strategic customers, and drive customer program success. Responsibilities include defining and measuring business value, building customer roadmaps, and guiding customers in enhancing their AWS maturity. You will collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to achieve their goals and drive growth of strategic accounts. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills, along with experience in cloud consulting and digital transformation. Requirements
- 7+ years of consulting experience in cloud and digital transformation or leadership experience in technology transformation
- Proven ability to build key client relationships and secure repeat business
- Experience delivering large, complex projects for enterprise clients
- Expertise in public cloud infrastructure and services, preferably AWS
- Strong understanding of Agile project delivery
- Excellent communication skills, especially with executive audiences
- Startup environment adaptability and cross-functional teamwork
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies
- Willingness to travel for project kick offs and key client milestones
Responsibilities
- Ensure Program Success: Steer customers and the Caylent team towards the clientโs vision. Lead Executive Steering Committees and manage Account-level Risks and Decisions to facilitate delivery team progress
- Drive the Creation of Customer Roadmaps: Align Caylent and the customer on business value realization expectations from both ongoing and future projects. Set program objectives and metrics that match the customerโs business goals and maintain a value-aligned roadmap of future work
- Drive Growth of Strategic Accounts: Uncover new opportunities within customers, driving the growth of our Strategic Accounts. Collaborate with Account Executives and Customer Solutions Architects to develop these opportunities
- Executive Communicator/Consultant: Successfully navigate difficult conversations at high organizational levels, both internally and externally. Effectively translate large, unbounded challenges into actionable, achievable, and measurable work
- Team Player: Collaborate effectively with diverse roles (sales, AWS, technical teams, PMs) on all customer work streams
- Multi-Tasker: Adjust priorities in response to the evolving needs of both Caylent and its customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, Agile, or HashiCorp
- Knowledge of Security Best Practices, Cloud Economics, Serverless technologies, container-based architecture, Software development frameworks, and cloud cost optimization
- Experience in AWS consulting with Fortune 2000 clients
