Join Model N's Business Services team as a Principal Consultant, Medicaid, playing a crucial role in supporting Medicaid processing. As a subject matter expert, you will guide other team members and manage client relationships, ensuring Medicaid rebates are processed correctly. Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, overseeing deliverables, analyzing data, and mentoring team members. This fully remote position requires a Bachelor's degree, 6+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience with Medicaid agreements, and strong analytical and communication skills. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 6+ years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry working with Medicaid agreements is required
- Experience working in mandated deadline environment; effective management of multiple client assignments; ability to prioritize
- Ability to continually build detailed subject matter expertise in Government Contracting Compliance
- Must be able to comprehend and/or learn complex government compliance requirements and retain, build upon, and apply this knowledge daily
- Excellent oral and written skills
- High accuracy rate and attention to detail along with high degree of analytical skills; ability to produce client-ready deliverables to a high-level executive/professional client base
- Experience with Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills
- Able to manage multiple and competing tasks across functional areas is essential
- Technical ability to understand underlying data structures and deal with large amounts of data
- Experience achieving and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory, legal, and operational rules and procedures and activities are met with βbestβ industry practices
- Ability to deliver required periodic results with a high degree of accuracy and minimal management review
Responsibilities
- Manage ongoing client relationships (interface w/clients to resolve specific issues)
- Responsible for review and approval of the setup and maintenance of customer contracts and data management within Model N systems
- Ensure Medicaid rebates are processed and paid according to government and contractual requirements
- Lead, review and approve Medicaid rebate deliverables to client
- Oversee the analysis and review of monthly and quarterly deliverables to ensure reports are submitted in accordance with contract terms
- Ability to handle complex and/or varying types of pharmaceutical rebates
- Respond to customer and client inquiries regarding processing status, reconciliation questions, data discrepancies and payment status
- Lead, manage, mentor, and develop Medicaid rebate Analysts
- Collaborate with GP Pricing and GTN teams, participating in cross-functional meetings providing insights and information as required
- Comply with all SOC controls and internal processes and procedures
- Support ongoing software product testing
- Expected to continually build detailed subject matter expertise and thought leadership in Medicaid processing and contracting and share this knowledge with direct reports and peer groups
- Continually strive to improve our business services processes and programs to enhance operational efficiency
