Principal Engineer - Test Lead

Summary

Join our Digital Product Engineering company as a Test Lead for Core banking projects! You will be responsible for test strategy and planning, automation, NFR, and end-to-end testing delivery. Lead and mentor testing teams for functional testing, regression, automation, and NFR for large Temenos T24 projects in the Private banking domain. You will also review and analyze business requirements and system specifications to define the test approach, scope, and test plan. Collaborate with various teams, report status, manage defects, and proactively raise issues and risks. Work with BAs and development teams to improve upstream software quality. This role requires 15+ years of experience in test lead roles for T24 projects, preferably in Private Banking.

Requirements

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in test lead role for T24 projects, preferably with Private Banking
• Good knowledge of Securities, Payments, Corporate Actions, Derivatives, Structured Products, Accounting, Pricing, Portfolio Management, Forex, Treasury, Lending domains in Private Banking
• Excellent knowledge of T24 modules for these domains
• Excellent knowledge of and exposure to testing of T24 integration, COB testing, Client output
• Excellent knowledge of SWIFT message testing, regulatory reports
• Expertise in financial accounting for all asset types
• Expertise in working on Agile methodologies such as Scrum / Kanban / SAFE
• Excellent communication & Stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor testing teams for functional testing, regression, automation, NFR for large Temenos T24 projects in the Private banking domain
• Test planning and execution including the test design, data management, environment planning, automation, non-functional testing, regression, defect management and test closure
• Review and analyse Business requirements and system specifications to define test approach, scope and test plan
• Work collaboratively with various team to achieve goals
• Status reporting and able to drive the defect management across multiple teams
• Proactively raise issues, risks and recommend optimal solutions
• Work with the BA and Dev teams to drive even the upstream software quality (Requirements, Development Solutions)

Preferred Qualifications

• Good know how of JAVA and experience in Automation, DevOps is an advantage
• Understanding / Experience of Automation tools (Selenium) and DevOps concepts to drive Automation in projects
• Agile planning tools – JIRA, Confluence
