Summary
Join Behavox as a Senior HR Business Partner, North America and help drive people programs that fuel high performance, agility, and collaboration. You will serve as the Montreal office site leader and regional HR Business Partner for the Americas, working with leadership to execute talent strategies. Support organizational design, team scaling, and workforce planning. Provide expert counsel on complex employee matters and drive execution of people initiatives, ensuring alignment with global frameworks. The role requires strong influence, advisory, and cross-functional partnership skills. Success will be measured by aligning talent strategies with business priorities, supporting organizational growth, providing expert employee relations counsel, and driving effective people initiatives.
Requirements
- A deep and genuine interest in Behavox as demonstrated by a connection to its mission, market and/or technologies
- 10+ years progressive HR experience, preferably in high-growth tech environments (AI, SaaS or deep tech.)
- Deep business acumen and a track record of supporting organizations through rapid growth and change
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian employment law and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent judgement and experience managing complex, nuanced employee matters
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, manage ambiguity, and deliver results under tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills across diverse functions and geographies
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Montreal office site leader, regional HR Business Partner for the Americas, and work with leadership across all functions to execute and align talent strategies with business priorities
- Support organizational design, team scaling and workforce planning as the business evolves rapidly
- Provide expert counsel on complex employee matters
- Drive execution of people initiatives in North America, ensuring alignment with global frameworks and localization for compliance, culture relevance and effectiveness
- Proactively mitigate risks and ensure compliance through sound employee relations practices
- Independently lead large-scale initiatives with minimal disruption to business operations
- Build stage appropriate HR programs and processes in a fast-paced environment
- Manage performance management, career development, and training programs that support employee growth and engagement
- Leverage people metrics and analytics to guide decisions, identify trends and drive continuous improvement
- Partner closely with the HRBP for EMEA and with COEs (e.g. Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR Ops) to deliver a unified and seamless employee experience
