Join AlphaSense's People Systems and Analytics team as a Principal People Systems Analyst! Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in Workday, with at least 5 years focused on Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Payroll or Absence and Time Tracking
  • Workday Pro certification in 3+ modules including Core HCM
  • Strong understanding of HR process and best practices with demonstrated experience working in a hyper-growth company
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and negotiate for the best possible solution
  • Ability to coach and mentor partners at all levels on using Workday and the value Workday brings to business processes
  • Must be able to maintain high levels of confidentiality and understand and maintain HR data security
  • Demonstrated ability to create internal team processes and help in the maturity of an internal People Systems team
  • Proven expertise in translating business needs into technical requirements and actionable configurations, with a consultative mindset
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, prioritizing, and delivering multiple initiatives on time and within scope
  • In the role of Principal People Systems Analyst, you must be able to work independently, escalate when necessary and adapt to a fluid, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Workday configuration for 3-5 outlined modules. This includes reviewing and recommending new features (during release planning), lead system configuration and provide day-to-day support and maintenance
  • Lead ongoing implementation of new Workday processes, products and features bringing recommendations from prior experience and providing the business with options including pros/cons of decisions
  • Collaborate with key business partners to understand business needs, recommend solutions, and outline the needed timeline to implement requested changes
  • Conduct gap analysis, and if needed, recommend a workaround (or alternative) to address business requirement needs
  • Review business requests and be able to scope and size effort for project roadmap planning
  • Utilizing previous experience, help in the definition of the People Systems roadmap to ensure proper sequencing and the best use of resources in both the PSA team and the business
  • Be an expert in Workday modules and best practices. Be able to provide recommendations and feedback based on prior experience. Serve as a consultant and partner to the business team, offering strategic solutions to solve their needs
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide technical support to end-users. Be able to recommend solutions to improve or permanently resolve ongoing technical issues
  • Have experience across all areas of solution build out including Workday domain security, Workday business process security and Workday report development. Deliver to the business a complete end-to-end solution
