Summary

Requirements

  • Has a strong portfolio showcasing strategic thinking and a systematic approach to designing end-to-end experiences that serve user needs and business goals
  • Proactively sets and achieves goals, driving projects forward with initiative and accountability
  • Demonstrates confidence and enthusiasm while serving as a knowledgeable representative of the design team and users when engaging with stakeholders from other functional areas
  • Facilitates consensus-building and drives projects to successful completion
  • Enjoys the process of brainstorming solutions as much as the solutions themselves
  • Thrives on solving user problems that significantly impact key metrics, leading discussions to achieve strategic goals with a holistic mindset
  • Experience mentoring and fostering a culture of growth and development within the design team
  • Has excellent communication skills, effectively articulating the rationale behind design decisions and confidently presenting to diverse groups of stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Contribute strategically to long-term planning and quarterly roadmaps, aligning design initiatives with business objectives
  • Define the strategic design direction and product vision for our most challenging problems
  • Collaborate with the VP of Design and senior leaders to evolve company-wide design strategies
  • Maintain and elevate design standards in partnership with design leadership, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution
  • Mentor team members, helping them develop and grow in their craft
  • Cultivate a collaborative and innovative design culture through feedback and process iteration
