Principal UI/UX Product Designer

Summary

Requirements

• Proven ability to lead design projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Very senior experience in UI/UX design for a SaaS product, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to create delightful, intuitive, and fluid experiences
• Skills: You live and breathe in design tools such as Figma, Whimiscal, etc

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to execution, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and interaction design
• Develop and maintain a consistent design language and style guide that reflects our brand and product vision
• Leverage data, user feedback, and research to refine the user journey
• Drive the overall design vision for the product, aligned with the company's long-term strategy and values
• Inspire the team with innovative ideas and a commitment to creating a product that users love and remember

Preferred Qualifications

• Creativity: Ability to think outside the box and push conventional design to create something truly differentiated
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Passion: A deep passion for design and a commitment to staying current with industry trends and best practices
• Vision: A keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of what makes a product truly exceptional
• Being a short-term rental/Airbnb host or having experience in a short-term rental business is a special kudos

• The total budget for this role is between $149,400 and $166,000 depending on the cost of living in your location
