Summary

Join Mursion, an award-winning upskilling platform, as a Principal Product Designer. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and customers to drive design decisions, create user personas, and design documents. Develop detailed prototypes and specifications, conduct usability testing, and iterate on designs. Support engineers during implementation and contribute to product documentation and KPI tracking. Mentor others in a user-first mindset. This role requires 8+ years of UX experience, preferably with AI-based products or gaming/simulation, 3+ years in B2B design, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in UX, preferably with heavy emphasis on data, and ideally in AI-based products and/or gaming/simulation experiences
  • 3+ years in B2B design
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Engineering, Computer science or related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of UX design principles
  • Experience with usability testing and user research
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as drive the collaborative nature of design
  • Problem-solving aptitude and creative thinking skills
  • Driven by curiosity
  • Aptitude for applying creativity in a methodical way to achieving a product vision

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executives, developers, customer-facing peers, and more to drive meaningful design decisions
  • Create user personas and drive evolution of them through research
  • Create design documents expressing overall direction of major areas of the product
  • Create detailed level prototypes and specifications to coordinate with user stories and product direction over time
  • Conduct usability testing gather user feedback and iterate on designs
  • Support and iterate with engineers and others during implementation
  • Contribute to documentation and or other assets to help others understand the product
  • Contribute to KPI definition and tracking
  • Mentor and guide others as needed throughout the organization in user-first mindset
