Summary
Join Turnitin, a pioneer in education technology, and contribute to delivering flexible assessment solutions to higher education institutions, high schools, and graduate programs. As a Principal Program Manager, you will map, build, and manage cross-functional decisions, processes, mechanisms, and dependencies across multiple products and teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in program or project management, including cross-functional teams
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, at varying levels across the organization
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Ability to extract, model, and synthesize data to make business decisions
- Experience driving program execution, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results
- Bachelor's degree in project management, education management or related field, or equivalent experience
- Effective working in culturally diverse work groups
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of program plans, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines
- Partner with stakeholders across the Turnitin organization including the technology teams, product teams, marketing teams, and the legal team to organize and facilitate data-driven change management
- Maintain and improve the product roadmap with cross-team dependencies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, on-time, cross-functional work related to product projects and workstreams
- Lead program scoping efforts to define overall scope, high-level requirements, and stakeholders for different program aspects
- Serve as a change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization centered on consultation around process and continuous improvement
