Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in information security, with significant hands-on experience in technical problem-solving
  • Deep expertise in areas such as cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP), application security, and incident response
  • Proven ability to lead technical projects and make strategic decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong mentoring skills, with a track record of fostering the growth of junior engineers
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate and resolve diverse technical challenges

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical leader of the Information Security team, shaping security strategies and decisions
  • Design, implement, and manage advanced security solutions to protect Axonโ€™s systems and data
  • Lead incident response efforts, conducting in-depth technical investigations and remediation activities
  • Evaluate and integrate security tools and technologies to improve security posture and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address diverse technical challenges, including cloud security, application security, and more
  • Mentor junior security engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering their career growth
  • Conduct security assessments, penetration tests, and code reviews to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities
  • Drive the adoption of security best practices across development and operational teams
  • Stay ahead of the latest security trends and threat landscapes to proactively protect Axonโ€™s environment
  • Create technical documentation and deliver security training sessions to internal teams
