Principal Solution Engineer

Summary

Join SingleStore as a Principal Solutions Engineer and help customers overcome data bottlenecks by leveraging real-time data capabilities. You will collaborate with sales and channel partners, deliver compelling demonstrations and presentations, and support proof-of-concept projects. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics, database technologies, and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively. You will provide valuable feedback to product teams and stay current with industry trends. Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years experience in a technical pre-sales role
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting to large corporate organizations
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Strong team player with interpersonal skills
• Broad range of experience within large-scale database and/or data warehousing technologies
• Experience with data engineering tools Apache Spark, Apache Flink,Apache Airflow
• Demonstrated proficiency in ANSI SQL query languages
• Demonstrated proficiency in Python, Scala or Java
• Understanding of private and public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware

Responsibilities

• Engage with both current and prospective clients to understand their technical and business challenges
• Present and demonstrate SingleStore product offering to fortune 50 companies
• Provide valuable feedback to product teams based on client interactions
• Stay up to date with database technologies and the SingleStore product offerings
