Summary

Join Navy Federal Credit Union, the world's largest credit union, as a Contract Manager! This temporary-to-permanent position offers a chance to oversee contract development and management, ensuring compliance and integrity. You will be responsible for managing contracts and proposals within Vendoor, maintaining accuracy in contract text and attachments, and serving as the primary contact during negotiations. The ideal candidate possesses 5-10+ years of IT contracting experience, particularly in software licensing and IT infrastructure, including mainframes, SaaS, and cloud services. A strong understanding of contract law, compliance, and negotiation is essential. This role requires excellent analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.

Requirements

  • Have deep knowledge and 5-10+ years of experience in IT contracting experience especially in the areas of Software Licensing, and IT Infrastructure including mainframe
  • Review the contracts through the analytical lens
  • Have strong business acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders in the decision making
  • Be quick in understanding the management intent and can implement it with a strong sense of urgency
  • Expertise in contract negotiation and management
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in contract lifecycle management software (e.g., Vendor)
  • Analytical skills for risk assessment and resolution
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee contract development and management activities
  • Enforce organizational principles of integrity and compliance
  • Ensure that contracts and proposals are properly entered into Vendoor and securely maintained
  • Assure accuracy and appropriateness of contract text and attachments
  • Serve as primary organizational contact during contract negotiations

Preferred Qualifications

SaaS and Cloud services experience
