Procurement Manager

Summary

The company is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to implement procurement processes and identify savings. The role involves defining purchasing roadmaps, analyzing spending, establishing relationships with suppliers, and driving improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a degree in economics or related field, 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply management, and fluency in English.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in economics, business, engineering or information technology
• 3-5+ years of work experience in a management consulting company, international start-up or similar, with a focus on procurement or supply management
• Ability to support multiple annual spend cycles with specific examples of the addressable spend identified and savings achieved
• Proven track record of negotiating with partners from a range of different European countries
• Solid understanding of processes and the confidence to manage multiple projects and people successfully
• Fluent English skills - spoken and written

Responsibilities

• Define purchasing roadmap for business areas
• Analyze current and future spending
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with key strategic suppliers
• Represent FREE NOW in supplier negotiations
• Identify and drive improvement initiatives to optimize costs while ensuring best quality services
• Help design and implement a purchasing system
