Procurement Manager

Summary

The company is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to implement procurement processes, identify savings opportunities, and build relationships with vendors. The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, managing multiple projects and people, and negotiating with suppliers. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, business, engineering or information technology, 3-5+ years of work experience in procurement or supply management, fluency in English, and strong communication skills are required.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in economics, business, engineering or information technology
• 3-5+ years of work experience in a management consulting company, international start-up or similar, with a focus on procurement or supply management
• Ability to support multiple annual spend cycles with specific examples of the addressable spend identified and savings achieved
• Proven track record of negotiating with partners from a range of different European countries
• Solid understanding of processes and the confidence to manage multiple projects and people successfully
• Fluent English skills - spoken and written

Responsibilities

• Define the purchasing roadmap for your business areas, supporting both ad-hoc spend >20k€ as well as significant contracts with key vendors 0.5 - 2M€
• Analyse the current and future spending and purchasing procedures
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with key strategic suppliers
• Represent FREE NOW in supplier negotiations
• Identify and drive improvement initiatives to optimize costs while ensuring best quality services
• Help to design and implement a purchasing system
