Product Analyst

Summary

Join the Paid Acquisition team at ZipRecruiter as a Senior Product Analyst and collaborate with product management, engineering, and design to drive the development of the product roadmap. Utilize quantitative tools to support better decision-making and influence stakeholders to make better product decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, computer science, statistics, or economics (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of product analytics experience
• Experience designing experiments, testing, and utilizing statistical principles to inform business decisions
• Proficient in statistical computing and scripting languages such as Python, R, SQL

Responsibilities

• Utilize descriptive statistics to assess product performance
• Serve as the end-to-end owner of hypothesis-driven experimentation for your product team
• Perform statistical inference to enhance your team’s understanding of products and users
• Influence your stakeholders and executives to make better product decisions
• Become deeply familiar with our product data
• Propose analyses that the product manager and engineering team haven’t considered yet
• Build clear and compelling data visualizations so stakeholders can analyze product health independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as mathematics, computer science, operations research, economics
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in various areas, including probability and statistics theory, causal inference, experimental design and analysis, synthetic control, product ecosystems, and Bayesian inference
• Experience in product analytics with a focus on user acquisition
