Remote Senior Product Analyst

Join our team as a Senior Product Analyst to play a pivotal role in creating and enhancing products or services. You will collect and analyze data on customer needs, market trends, and business goals to guide product strategy and decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and manipulation
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with product management and roadmapping tools like JIRA, Trello, Asana
• Basic understanding of user research methodologies, including surveys, interviews, and workshops
• Strong understanding of business metrics and ability to translate data insights into actionable product improvements or strategies
• Proficiency in creating presentations and reports to convey findings and recommendations
• Analytical mindset to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments
• Some familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and analyzing business objectives
• Monitor key product metrics and performance indicators
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape
• Define product features based on business goals and collaborate with customers
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to capture user and business needs
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate insights, findings, and recommendations effectively
• Act as an intermediary between business users and development teams
• Work in Agile SDLC environments, defining product roadmaps, grooming backlogs, and detailing epics, features, and user stories
