Join Constructor's Agent Products team as an entrepreneurial Data Scientist and help shape AI-powered shopping agents. You will define success metrics, drive product strategy, and reinvent how millions discover products online. This role involves uncovering actionable insights from user behavior, validating changes through A/B testing, and collaborating with cross-functional partners. You will also define, monitor, and visualize KPIs, build and maintain data tables, and improve analytical efficiency. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in data science or a similar analytical role and thrives in fast-paced environments. Requirements
- You have 2+ years of experience in data science or a similar analytical role, with a proven track record of thriving in fast-paced, consumer-focused environments
- A proactive and autonomous self-starter, you excel at navigating ambiguity and taking full ownership of complex projects from start to finish
- An excellent communicator, you can effectively translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa
Responsibilities
- Drive product strategy by uncovering actionable insights from user behavior and validating changes through A/B testing
- Define, monitor, and visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) through dashboards for all levels of the company
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners in engineering, product management, design, and user research
- Build and maintain clean, reliable data tables to improve analytical efficiency and democratize data access for the entire team
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a data scientist in a startup or e-commerce environment
- Expert-level SQL proficiency for complex data exploration and transformation
- Hands-on experience with Python and PySpark for data analysis
- Experience with our data stack, including Databricks, Redash (or similar tools like Looker), and other BI tooling
- Basic understanding of data pipeline development and ETL processes
- Knowledge of OLAP technologies, particularly Cube or similar semantic layer tools
- Ability to build and maintain data pipelines to power analytical applications
- Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, Prefect)
- Experience implementing data quality monitoring and testing frameworks
