Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Product Design, working within Product/SaaS startups or scaleups, with a solid understanding of the challenges and opportunities in fast-paced environments
• 6+ years of leadership experience with direct reports under your guidance
• Operational Expertise: Experience implementing design systems, standards, and workflows for efficient, high-quality creative output
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, including experience with user research, wireframing and rapid prototyping, with a focus on quick iteration and user feedback
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, with a keen eye for detail
• Experience with leading design projects across multiple platforms (web/mobile), ensuring a cohesive and responsive user experience
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and build consensus among stakeholders
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall design vision and strategy across our product suite, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience
• Advocate for user-centered design principles, ensuring that our products meet the needs of our users and stand out in the market
• Develop and implement wireframes and rapid prototypes to visualize and test design concepts quickly
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate best practices into design processes
• Take ownership of key design projects, from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to translate product requirements into intuitive and engaging designs
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate on designs based on feedback to continuously improve the user experience
• Provide guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to your design team, helping them grow in their careers
• Set clear goals and expectations for the design team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet the highest standards of quality
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that design decisions are aligned with overall product and business strategies
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, effectively communicating the value of design in achieving business objectives
• Foster strong working relationships across departments to facilitate smooth collaboration and project execution
