Remote Product Design Manager

Summary

Join Goalbook as a technical product leader and experienced people manager to lead our Product Design Team, collaborate with the CEO and Content Team Lead, and influence product decisions across all features of our product.

Requirements

• 3+ years of managing direct reports, including providing critical feedback and supporting professional growth of your direct reports
• 3+ years leading inclusive, high-performing product teams
• 5+ years of experience working on user-facing software products, ideally in startups or agile tech environments
• Leadership experience iterating on and leveling up the overall maturity of your team’s systems and operational processes
• Exceptional communication and team-building abilities
• Advanced data analysis skills and fluency with user data platforms

Responsibilities

• Lead our team of product designers to create unified product strategies, define metrics, and drive outcomes for that team
• Support professional growth of each individual on your team through growth centered mentorship
• Oversee the product development cycle for the team of product managers you manage: from ideation through release of new features, including defining product requirements, prioritizing features, and managing design timelines
• Influence and drive key product decisions, quality, and delivery for the product management team
• Monitor the impact each product release has on user experience and business outcomes
• Iterate upon product manager systems and processes to drive business and product outcomes
• Work closely with other teams and stakeholders to seamlessly integrate your team’s projects into the product development lifecycle
