Product Designer

Summary

Join Conduit, a leading onchain compute company, as a Product Designer to shape the user experience across our platform. Working closely with the CEO and Design Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience across our platform. You'll collaborate with engineering and product leadership to deliver high-quality, user-centered, data-informed solutions. This role demands a proactive approach, problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating exceptional products. As an early design hire, you'll have significant impact, helping define and evolve the design culture, processes, and principles at Conduit. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, with a focus on B2B and/or SaaS
• Demonstrated experience owning the product design process end-to-end
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality product design that moves the needle
• Proven ability to independently drive projects, even in the absence of a PM
• Solid understanding of UX research methodologies and ability to conduct research
• Excellent user experience and interaction design skills
• Strong UI design skills and attention to detail
• Self-starter with a proactive approach and ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
• Passion for building great products
• Comfortable communicating directly with customers
• Good business sense and an understanding of how design contributes to business goals

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product design process on high priority projects, from research and gathering product requirements to creating visual specifications and overseeing implementation
• Contribute to multiple product areas – deployment, monitoring and observability, configuration and customization, billing, and more – within the Conduit web app
• Conduct research to identify user needs, pain points, and business opportunities
• Translate data into actionable product improvements
• Propose new features and product lines based on identified gaps and opportunities
• Contribute to product strategy and direction
• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure product requirements are properly scoped and design specifications are accurately implemented
• Create and maintain design systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing developer tools or for technical audiences
• Experience working at a Series B+ organization
• Experience in the crypto industry
• Technical background, such as a degree in Computer Science or previous programming experience
• UI animation experience
• Frontend programming skills
