Product Designer

Summary

Join Electric as a Product Designer and play a key role in shaping intuitive user experiences for our IT management platform. You will design and iterate on UX/UI designs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, support agile teams, improve UX workflows, conduct user research, and contribute to our design system. This mid-level role offers opportunities to grow your expertise with guidance from senior designers. We seek a user-centered designer with 3+ years of experience in SaaS or B2B e-commerce, proficiency in Figma and Miro, and a strong portfolio. Requirements

• Excel at producing high-quality design solutions with guidance from senior designers and the UX Manager
• Have at least 3 years of experience designing for SaaS or B2B e-commerce platforms, with a strong understanding of usability, accessibility, and conversion-driven design
• Think deeply about user needs, leveraging research and feedback to drive design decisions
• Ensure consistency in UI components, interactions, and workflows while considering scalability
• Thrive in agile environments, working closely with cross-functional partners and adjusting to shifting priorities
• Actively seek feedback and mentorship to refine your skills and expand your impact
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or similar role in a SaaS or B2B e-commerce environment
• A portfolio showcasing end-to-end design solutions, including wireframes, UI designs, and interaction flows
• Experience working within design systems and contributing to scalable design solutions
• Familiarity with user research and usability testing, leveraging insights to improve product experiences
• Proficiency in Figma (for UI, prototyping) and Miro (for collaboration and journey mapping)
• Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility best practices
• Experience working in agile product development teams alongside product managers and engineers

Responsibilities

• Execute UX and UI designs from concept to implementation, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and senior designers to translate business goals into intuitive, effective user experiences
• Contribute to design work for one or more scrum teams, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews
• Identify opportunities to refine workflows, enhance usability, and align with user needs across Electric’s IT management platform
• Conduct or contribute to user research efforts, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions
• Work within and help refine Electric’s design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across products
• Utilize Figma for wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI, and Miro for collaborative design exercises, with the ability to adapt to other tools as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of small business IT management or a similar domain is a plus
