Summary
Join Immersive Labs as a Product Designer in Bristol, UK, and become a key player in a team of four, creating user-friendly interfaces and driving business outcomes. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and translate business objectives into actionable design solutions. You will create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, design user stories and journeys, and develop design guidelines. Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate on designs based on feedback. The ideal candidate has experience with design systems, UI/UX design, and proficiency in design tools like Figma and Jira. Requirements
- Experience in setting up, maintaining and working with a design system
- Experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record of collaborating closely with Product Managers and Front End developers
- Proficient in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar and Jira
- Demonstrable understanding of user-centered design principles, with a focus on simplicity, functionality, and usability
- Can evidence communication and moderating skills (UX Workshops, Demo´s, etc.)
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, iterative development process
- Portfolio showcasing your design expertise, collaboration with product teams, and contributions to achieving business objectives
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and business objectives
- Advocate for an outcome-driven approach to design and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results
- Translate business objectives into actionable design solutions that drive user engagement, retention, and conversion
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that align with business goals and user needs
- Design and deliver user stories, user journeys, and high-fidelity mockups
- Develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and design systems to ensure consistency and alignment with business objectives
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to gather insights and validate design decisions
- Iterate together with your team on designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights to continuously improve the user experience and achieve desired outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, enabling effective collaboration with Front End developers
