You'll contribute to their market-leading Intelligence Platform (iP) used by over 2000 teams globally. This role involves collaborating with a strong design team, conducting discovery work, shaping product strategy, executing design processes, and ensuring user-centricity in complex design challenges. You'll be responsible for maintaining the Design System, prioritizing impactful work, and sharing feedback within the team. Requirements
- 7+ years in a software product design role
- Bachelorβs degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience
- An excellent online portfolio showcasing thinking, UX, UI, and visual design
- Experience working closely with development teams to build web products
Responsibilities
- Run and collaborate on discovery work for key initiatives to evaluate ideas
- Liaise with high-profile sports organisations, leagues, and clubs
- Contribute to the UX team vision, product strategy, and roadmapping for our product as a whole
- Execute on all stages of the design process, from understanding the problem all the way through to release, along with monitoring success
- Conduct usability testing using low/high-fidelity prototypes, incorporating results into the design
- Perform design QA and product heuristic assessments
- Maintain and improve the Design System along with other designers; suggest improvements and make amendments as needed
- Balance time across multiple projects and prioritise the most impactful work
- Continuously share work for feedback within the design team and across squads
- Share your thoughts and engage in dialogue with other designers on the direction of the product and their designs
- Take into account limiting factors for designs, such as business needs, GTM, and tech feasibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Ideal candidates will have prior experience in the sports industry
- End to end experience from initial research through to design of user journeys
- Experience with maintaining and improving a Design System
- Ability to tackle complex design challenges
