Product Designer

Summary

Join Monarch, a premier financial life management company experiencing rapid growth, as a Product Designer (Senior/Staff)! You will design and iterate on new product features, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams. This role requires 4+ years of product design experience at a consumer-focused company and strong visual design skills. Requirements

• Experience: 4+ years in product design at a consumer-focused company
• Design Mastery: Strong visual design skills, attention to detail, and a systems-thinking approach
• Collaboration: Comfortable working closely with founders, product managers, and engineers in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Responsibilities

• Design Excellence – Own end-to-end product design, ensuring a high bar for UI/UX through detailed execution in Figma
• User Research & Feedback – Occasionally conduct UX research with customers, test prototypes, and refine designs based on insights
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless handoff and implementation of designs
• Strategic Impact – Within your first 90 days, get up to speed with Monarch’s design system, take ownership of new product design projects, and drive UX research when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Innovative Thinking (Bonus): Experience designing for 0-to-1 projects or consumer mobile apps is a plus
• Bonus Skills (Nice to Have): HTML, CSS, React – while not required, familiarity with these technologies can help facilitate design collaboration
