Requirements
- 4+ years working as a product designer (or similar role)
- Ability to influence change, whilst engaging with stakeholders of all levels
- Confidently communicate future design direction with senior stakeholders, including founders, and inspire positive action within your team to bring the vision to life
- Expertise and knowledge champion the userβs experience and defend design rationale to all stakeholders
- Strong understanding of the role of discovery in product design and development
- Very strong skills in facilitating various design and research workshops
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile, using Agile tools & methods
- Experience in designing web-based user interfaces. You have a strong foundation and understanding of design theory and principles
- Strong experience with design systems
- Strong portfolio of product design projects
- Experience working in multidimensional teams alongside Product Managers and Software Engineers
Responsibilities
- Ensure strategic initiatives are championed with user-centric practices and design thinking processes
- Discover and define our userβs needs and validate design solutions using qualitative and quantitative research techniques
- Advance a strong point of view on product design, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, customer data, and industry trends
- Regularly check in with fellow Product Designers to provide guidance on design principles and work in progress
- Help define improvements in how we bring products to market
- Test desirability and usability with customers as well as feasibility with engineers to iterate quickly on designs
- Make contributions to the evolving design system as required
- Translate concepts into user journeys, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes that lead to user experiences that attract, engage, and retain customers
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the legal domain is favored but not required
