Product Designer

Summary

Join PERSUIT as a Product Designer (Contract) for a 6-month parental leave contract, potentially transitioning to a full-time role. You will work end-to-end on product design, collaborating with product managers and engineers. Responsibilities include discovery, ideation, delivery, facilitating workshops, user research, and contributing to the design system. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, a strong portfolio showcasing product design work for complex workflows, and experience working in agile environments. The role is fully remote in Australia, with a hybrid option in Melbourne. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a product designer
• Experience designing across the full product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery
• A strong portfolio showcasing product design work, especially for complex workflows
• A good eye for design and sound judgment in applying design best practices
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders
• Experience working in agile environments as part of a product trio
• Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering impact over perfection
• Adaptability and pragmatism to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment

Responsibilities

• Work end-to-end across discovery, ideation, and delivery
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers in a cross-functional squad to deliver impactful product experiences and dev-ready design assets
• Contribute to innovation and early-stage discovery projects
• Facilitate design workshops, user research sessions, and validation activities
• Support our Design Ops practice by contributing to key initiatives and collaborating closely with the team
• Help maintain and evolve our design system
• Advocate for best-in-class design thinking across the organisation
