Product Designer

Summary

Join PrismHR, a fast-paced SaaS company, as a UX Designer and produce designs meeting requirements from various stakeholders. Collaborate with Product Managers and other designers to refine user stories and workflows, support cross-functional teams, and validate designs through user testing. You will identify and utilize design patterns across projects, effectively present designs, and contribute to defining the visual identity of new products. This position is based in Chandler, AZ, with up to 100% telecommuting permitted. PrismHR offers a cloud-based payroll process software application and professional services, including system implementation consulting, custom configurations, and training.

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Design or a directly related field plus three (3) year of experience in a Designer role
• Three (3) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently): Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision
• Two (2) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently): Visual design or user research experience in an enterprise application context
• Online portfolio demonstrating research, analysis and visual design skills
• Lean UX
• Responsive design
• One (1) year of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently): Facilitating Usability Tests
• HR, Benefits, Payroll, Finance or other Human Capital Management systems
• 40 hours/week, 8:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities

• Produce designs that satisfy requirements set out by Product Managers, designers, managers, directors, etc
• Assist Product Managers and other UX Designers in identifying, capturing and refining user stories and workflows
• Support cross-functional teams in collaborative design sessions
• Help validate designs with users as part of an iterative design process
• Be able to identify, satisfy, and follow design patterns used across projects
• Effectively present designs/ideas
• Draft and execute research plans
• Help define the visual identity of new products
