Based in downtown Toronto with remote options, you will lead the end-to-end design process, from research and ideation to final delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct user research, and utilize data to inform design decisions. You will develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across products. Requirements
- 3+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive designs for web and mobile platforms
- Proven experience in leading end to end design process: user research, collaborative ideation, prototyping, UX/UI design and usability testing
- Experience in leading cross-functional team workshops with strong facilitation and communication skills
- Ability to leverage both quantitative and qualitative data to validate design decisions
- Strong UI design skills with excellent attention to details
- Proficiency in Figma
- Strong time management and organization skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple assignments under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with agile development processes and management tools like Jira and Confluence
- Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in UX Design or a related field
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design process from research and ideation to prototyping and final delivery
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with business objectives and user needs
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to gather insights and validate design decisions
- Partner with PMs and analytics team to utilize quantitative data to inform design decisions and measure the impact of design changes
- Support other design tasks as needed from the content or partnership team
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements, align on goals, and brainstorm solutions
- Communicate design concepts and rationale clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Advocate for user-centered design decisions and and collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on designs based on user feedback and business requirements
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all products
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve design processes and methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, and Javascript)
