Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Equivalent work experience and a strong portfolio may be considered in place of formal education
  • Experience working as a product designer (or UI/UX designer)
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience with User Experience and User Interface Design
  • Knowledge of design fundamentals, including typography, color theory, layout, and user-centered design principles
  • Knowledge of growth mindset and experimentation, applying this to improve acquisition and retention rates
  • Knowledge in creation and prototyping tools, such as Figma
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Near native level of written and spoken English proficiency required
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow within the role, including staying up-to-date with industry trends and seeking feedback for improvement

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Teams: Support in the creation of design solutions that align with the product vision, collaborating closely with product managers and developers to ensure consistency and quality
  • Focus on Growth: Create prototypes and visual concepts for A/B testing and UX experiments with a focus on optimizing key metrics (CRO, LTV, CAC). Quickly iterate on designs based on quantitative and qualitative data, such as user research, A/B tests, heatmaps, and analytics
  • User Research and Insights Gathering: Participate in user research sessions, helping to gather insights and feedback to inform design decisions
  • Wireframing and Prototyping: Create low-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to explore design solutions. Iterate designs based on feedback from stakeholders and users
  • Usability Testing: Plan and execution of usability tests, analyzing the results to identify areas for improvement in the product’s design
  • Design Documentation: Maintain and update design documentation, including style guides and design system components, ensuring that design specifications are clear and accessible for the development team
  • Support Design Operations: Contribute to the organization of design resources and help streamline design processes within the team
