Product Designer

Summary

Join Vosyn, a leading Language Synthesis AI firm, as a Product Designer Intern for a 3-month, 520-hour remote internship (with hybrid options in Toronto). You will contribute to designing user-centered AI products, from concept to prototype. Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product owners to define product features and user journeys. Translate user needs into wireframes, flows, and prototypes using Figma. Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs. This internship provides exposure to cross-functional teamwork and practical skills in a fast-paced environment. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in UX Design, HCI, Human Factors, or a related field
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies
• Proficient in Figma and familiar with design systems and prototyping best practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple design tasks and prioritize work effectively
• A passion for solving complex design challenges and delivering impactful product experiences

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product owners to define product features and user journeys
• Translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive wireframes, flows, and prototypes
• Create and maintain high-fidelity design components in Figma
• Participate in and lead design reviews, providing and incorporating feedback
• Conduct design validation through usability testing and iterate on designs based on insights
• Stay current with trends in product design, AI applications, and emerging technologies
