Summary
Join Workyard, a growing startup in the construction industry, as a Mid-Level Product Designer to own end-to-end product design. You will be responsible for designing user-centered solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and working directly with product management and engineering. This is a hybrid role with 2 days in the Sydney office and 3 days remote.

- Bachelorโs degree in Design, Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4-6 years of UI/UX design experience in software, ideally Saas-based products or equivalent, and across platforms (web and mobile)
- Proven experience in UI/UX with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or similar software
- Proficient in handing off and communicate designs to engineering team
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly
- Self-motivated and able to efficiently run with a project without close supervision
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing user-centered solutions that are both visually appealing and highly functional
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, develop design concepts, and create intuitive interfaces that elevate the overall user experience
- You will work directly with product management and engineering to bring it all to life
- Information Architecture: Develop user flows and wireframes to effectively organize user journeys and functionality
- Visual Design: Create engaging visual designs that reflect our brand identity and enhance usability
- Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes to demonstrate design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders and customers
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and developers to ensure alignment between design and functionality
- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design
