Product Development Engineer

Summary

Join Brandvised, a fast-growing e-commerce company, as their new Product Development Engineer! Based in Tel Aviv but fully remote, this role offers a competitive salary and unlimited PTO. This is a full-time, fully remote position requiring 100% commitment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in product development or engineering, ideally within consumer goods or manufacturing
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and product lifecycle management
• Experience with CAD software or other product design tools
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams

Responsibilities

• Research and develop innovative product concepts based on market trends, customer needs, and brand strategies
• Receive and review samples from Amazon’s top competitors to benchmark product quality, assembly, and design
• Translate product ideas into detailed technical specifications, including materials, dimensions, performance requirements, and packaging
• Collaborate with the sourcing team to evaluate manufacturers, ensuring their capability to meet design and quality standards
• Oversee the prototyping and testing of new products, providing technical direction for refinements
• Analyze performance and feedback on existing products to identify opportunities for design or quality improvements
• Work with manufacturers to implement design revisions, material upgrades, or packaging changes
• Ensure all updated products meet regional compliance and safety standards across markets (US, EU, UK, CA)
• Partner with suppliers to ensure manufacturing processes meet Brandvised’s quality standards
• Work closely with sourcing agents in China to obtain and analyze product samples
• Conduct audits and inspections of production facilities when needed
• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure all products meet regulatory requirements and certifications
• Support the evaluation of product success post-launch, using data from sales trends, customer feedback, and competitor analysis
• Recommend new product iterations or phase-outs based on performance metrics
• Suggest improvements and provide actionable recommendations to refine and enhance our products

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like Amazon FBA
