Product Lead

Summary

Join Prolific as a Product Lead for Enterprise Scalability and become a leader in the Product, Research, and Design Group. Drive impact and outcomes for the Enterprise Scalability Product Group, overseeing areas like payments infrastructure, security, accounts, authorization, and API uplift. Report to the VP of Product and collaborate with engineers, the Platform team, InfoSec, Finance, and other Product Groups. Initially, focus on product and program management, eventually taking on people management responsibilities. Demonstrate reliability, grit, diplomacy, a bias for action, and a strong focus on value. Solve deep-domain technical user problems and create new opportunities for users. Elevate Prolific’s Product Management team and coach team members. Partner with engineers, compliance, and central functions to deliver complex technical products.

Requirements

• Deep passion and comfort in payments, accounts and authorisation, or comparable deep domains that put you in a strong position to lead and deliver complex and meaningful infrastructural improvement
• Competence or expertise in most or all of: The industry’s prevailing Product tools, models and methodologies, hands-on experience of Agile frameworks, Continuous Discovery, CI/CD, JTBD frameworks, thin or vertical slicing, self-organising teams, Team Topologies, advocacy of ‘thinking in bets,’ test-learn-iterate loops, and project or programme management
• Strong data literacy and true data-driven decision-making and the ability to coach this
• People management or extensive coaching experience, with a track record of success in developing world-class technologists
• You are a natural storyteller, someone that can take otherwise difficult or complex technical pieces and weave them together in engaging and interesting ways that makes audiences lean in and engage!

Responsibilities

• Bring your extensive product and programme management career experience to bear to solve deep-domain technical user problems and create new opportunities for users to fall in love with the experience of using Prolific
• Build on our great roots to help elevate Prolific’s Product Management team into a world-leading one, known for their approach to making bets and building products that customers love and which drive commercial value for our business
• Spend a lot of your time coaching behaviours and skills, and modeling game-changing approaches by directly doing
• Be an unblocker and simplifier of complexity: colleagues will bring you problems, and emerge optimistic, and with clarity
• Partner productively with Engineers and Engineering leadership, compliance folks, and central functions like Finance and Ops to find ways to deliver deep-domain or complex technical products in valuable and validating slices
