Summary

Risk Labs is the team behind UMA, a decentralized protocol that records verifiable truth on-chain. They are seeking an experienced Product Manager with knowledge of DeFi and a passion for scaling early stage products. The Product Manager will collaborate with another PM to define technical product strategy, work with engineering, sales, and marketing teams, establish systems and processes, architect novel smart contract systems, make data-driven decisions, and become an expert in the space.

Requirements

• 5+ years full-time relatable experience, at least 2 in a Product role
• Technical background and proven ability to collaborate with engineers and communities
• Successfully built and shipped web3 products at scale, bonus points if it’s in the DeFi, Oracles, or the infrastructure layer
• Passion for DeFi and web3 along with enthusiasm for understanding complex concepts

Responsibilities

• Drive the product vision, own a roadmap, and help prioritize development time and resources
• Work with engineering, sales, and marketing to communicate the align on the product strategy, collect feedback, and coordinate efforts to help the product win
• Establish the systems and processes to scope and define clear priorities, report on progress, prevent/overcome stuck points, and do what it takes to execute on the vision
• Architect novel smart contract systems and decentralized applications. Assessing feasibility, scope and timing alongside your tech lead and head of product
• Gather and evaluate product feedback and industry data to inform product strategy
