Summary

Join Airbnb as a Product Leader to spearhead the transformation of its guest discovery and merchandising platform. You will design and deliver an end-to-end guest journey, ensuring effortless discovery of relevant Homes, Services, and Experiences. Collaborate with design, engineering, and data teams to create innovative browsing tools using AI and intuitive UI. Partner with operations and global teams to build merchandising capabilities aligned with Airbnb's editorial strategy. Work closely with the marketing team to integrate Airbnb's voice and merchandising strategy into lifecycle campaigns and new marketing programs. This role requires strong product leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a data-driven approach to product development.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience
  • Experience creating product messaging and delivering to customers and the media
  • Demonstrated track record of building cross-functional and executive leadership alignment
  • Experience working on consumer products with marketplace dynamic on a global scale
  • Entrepreneurial track record of taking an idea to reality
  • A strong ability to effectively use data and perform business analysis to support product strategy/decisions
  • Excited to drive execution across teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to do individual contributor product management work

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the merchandising needs of all key business verticals (e.g. Homes, Services, Experiences, International) and new bets (e.g. Hotels, Luxe, Partnerships)
  • Lead the development of new discovery and merchandising features that drive core guest and bookings growth
  • Partner with international and merchandising teams to build Airbnb’s first merchandising manager- a critical tool to enable personalization and local relevance at scale
  • Incorporate the latest AI technologies to uplevel Airbnb’s browsing experience
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to extend Airbnb’s merchandising strategy to our lifecycle and growth marketing campaigns
  • Craft the product narrative and marketing strategies that communicate the benefits and features of these products both internally and externally
  • Develop product roadmaps and build alignment across product teams (Tech, Design), cross-functional partners (FP&A, Marketing, Global Operations, Customer Experience, Trust, etc.) and Leadership/Executive team
  • Inspire teams, leadership, and the company to support the success of your products and business outcomes
  • Build deep expertise on the subject matter both through user research, marketplace data, and an understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Define goals and success with clearly measurable objectives and key results
  • Efficiently execute to ship products and deliver impact for our business and users
