Summary

Join PrizePicks, the fastest-growing sports company in North America, as a Product Manager on our Social Engagement Product Team. You will strategize and execute on product vision, roadmap, and user-facing features for our new Social Engagement vertical. This role requires a strong product management background, experience building products across web and mobile, and excellent communication skills. You will collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to create engaging social-focused products. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product management or related disciplines
  • A proven track record of building products customers love
  • Entrepreneurial drive, passion about our mission, and deep empathy for our customers
  • Experience building products across web and mobile apps (Apple and Android app stores)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
  • Strong product discovery and strategic critical thinking skills
  • Self-driven ambition with a sense of urgency and a knack for taking audibles in stride and adapting in a high-paced environment
  • A constant desire to learn
  • You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S

Responsibilities

  • Strategize: Identify opportunities to innovate and improve our products, while ensuring a best in class user experience by synthesizing customer pain points, user research, analysis, and stakeholder feedback
  • Leverage the power of the PrizePicks community to create new and engaging social-focused products
  • Execute: Execute on our team’s product vision, strategy, and roadmap for user-facing features of our new Social Engagement vertical
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization
  • Define and execute on technical requirements, launch strategy, and overall vision of the product
  • Collaborate: Work closely with engineers, designers, and a variety of stakeholder groups to define, build, and iterate on a best-in-class user experience
  • Learn: Deeply understand the social and DFS landscapes – specifically how they intersect
  • Champion a data-driven approach to product decision-making
  • Grow: Our team is growing rapidly. We want you to want to grow with it

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the sports/gaming industry and/or a power user of the industry’s products
  • Prior experience in the social media industry and/or a power user of the industry’s products
  • Obsessive about something. We obviously love sports, but maybe it’s something else for you. What makes you tick? (Being a big sports-head definitely helps too)
  • You can add to the PrizePicks Culture. We want to work with people who bring something to the table on and off the field / in and out of the office
  • You’re a do-er. Blockers aren’t blockers in your world, and when the play breaks down, you’re more of a Patrick Mahomes than a Carson Wentz
  • The ability to work with and define ambiguity
  • You have a proven track record of successfully taking products from 0 → 1
