Summary
Join Basis Technologies' Product team as a leader in evolving the Basis Design System and Platform UX. You will define UI/UX paradigms, reusable components, and navigation models, ensuring a seamless experience for users and development teams. This role requires defining and governing UX paradigms for platform-wide consistency, usability, and accessibility. You'll translate complex ideas into actionable roadmaps, own the Design System & Platform UX strategy, and lead release strategy and execution. Direct engagement with agency users to gather feedback and enhance platform usability is crucial. The ideal candidate possesses 5-10 years of experience with agile software development teams and a proven track record of delivering superior user value.
Requirements
- Five to ten yearsβ experience working closely with agile software development teams, with at least three years of professional B2B software product management experience
- Passion for and a proven track record in delivering superior value to users and achieving positive customer outcomes
- A strong sense of ownership, measuring success through product impact and customer outcomes
- Demonstrable superior communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, and written)
- Strong grasp of how to assess and evaluate product-market opportunities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the evolution of Basisβ Design System and Platform UX, balancing internal enablement and direct customer-facing experiences
- Define UI/UX paradigms, reusable design components, navigation models, and API integrations, ensuring a seamless experience for both users and development teams
- Define and govern UX paradigms, ensuring platform-wide consistency, usability, and accessibility
- Act as a trusted advisor across teams, helping PMs and designers build features that align with the broader platform experience
- Translate complex ideas into clear, actionable roadmaps, ensuring alignment across teams and effectively communicating priorities and benefits to stakeholders
- Own and execute the Design System & Platform UX strategy, facilitating ongoing collaboration with Engineering, Design, and Product teams
- Lead monthly reviews with designers and PMs to ensure consistency across features, identify efficiencies, and expand the Design System with reusable components
- Lead release strategy and execution, ensuring successful rollouts from internal testing to general availability
- Collaborate across teams to define release milestones, manage risk, and drive adoption
- Cultivate a deep understanding of the customer to develop empathy for their challenges, opportunities, and motivations
- Engage directly with agency users to gather feedback, identify pain points, and enhance platform usability
- Lead product discovery and iteration by breaking down complex problems into clear development priorities and actionable backlogs
- Identify and analyze metrics that track our success and inform product decisions
- Own and evolve global navigation, layout structures, and shared UX patterns to create a seamless and intuitive platform experience
- Develop and maintain a scalable Design System with reusable UI components that ensure consistency, accessibility, and efficiency across all customer-facing experiences
- Apply knowledge and experience of agile practices and techniques to help lead cross-functional teams
- Analyze the competitive landscape and industry trends to inform product strategy

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Preference given to individuals with enterprise platform/SaaS experience and/or digital advertising industry expertise
