Join Sezzle as a Product Operations Director and lead the Media and Affiliate Monetization strategy. You will own the affiliate P&L, define the media strategy, negotiate and optimize rates, and ensure seamless operations. Responsibilities include working with various teams, deploying experiments, creating a central data system, and generating insightful reports. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in product operations, marketing growth, or performance partnerships, particularly within a mobile-first or fintech brand. Requirements

  • 5+ years in product ops, marketing growth, or performance partnerships—ideally with a mobile-first or fintech brand
  • Proven track record of moving revenue needles via affiliate or partner channels
  • Comfortable negotiating with C-level partners one hour and spelunking into SQL the next
  • Fluent in attribution tech (utm, MMPs, cookies, pixels) and affiliate networks (Impact, CJ, Rakuten, etc.)
  • Data-first mindset; Excel pivot tables are fun, but you’d rather automate the report
  • % lift in average commission rate (vs. baseline)
  • YoY total affiliate revenue growth
  • Incremental affiliate revenue per active user

Responsibilities

  • Own the affiliate P&L – set quarterly revenue goals, forecast upside, and hit (ok, exceed) them
  • Define Media strategy - benchmark with competitors to ensure Sezzle has optimal media opportunities based on inventory and advertiser interest
  • Negotiate & optimize rates – partner with the Partnerships team to squeeze better commissions and bonus tiers from networks and direct merchants
  • Grease the pipes – work with Product to understand how we manage feeds, SKU mapping, tracking links, and attribution so every impression and click turns into a clean payout
  • Deploy experiments – work with Product & Data to A/B paywalls, placements, and promos; turn winners into templates
  • Create the “source of truth” – consolidate merchant terms, creative assets, and rate cards in a single, audit-proof system
  • Analyze & report – build Sql dashboards to spot drop-offs, fraud, or golden geese
  • Keep us compliant – ensure we have proper disclosures, cookie tracking, and opt-out flows with network policies and privacy regs
  • Cross-team wrangler – sync with Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Customer Support to ship features that can help monetize all the mobile app traffic as efficiently as possible
