Product Owner

Summary

Join Devtech, a digital innovation services provider, as a Product Owner. You will translate valuable ideas into product features, validate ideas with stakeholders, and collaborate with engineers and designers. Responsibilities include writing user stories, managing the product backlog, identifying risks, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and conducting user acceptance testing. Requirements

• Understand and capture business requirements that align with product goals, positioning, and principles
• Outline a clear product vision, direction, priorities, and progress, based on business objectives and stakeholder input
• Possess a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices to optimize the product development process
• Collaborate with design and development teams to achieve a shared product vision in line with the product roadmap
• Identify risks and effectively communicate them to the Service Delivery Manager
• Generate desirable, usable, feasible, and viable product or service ideas, along with the ability to define a product vision supported by a clear business case ready for market
• Influence stakeholders and teams, lead ceremonies and workshops to align goals, and ensure everyone understands and internalizes the desired outcomes
• Deliver engaging and effective presentations to diverse audiences, using the appropriate structure, visuals, tone of voice, and body language to positively influence decision-making
• Fluent command of English

Responsibilities

• Translate potentially valuable ideas into product features with clearly defined requirements and politely say NO to baseless ideas
• Validate ideas with stakeholders and users before the engineers start developing them
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, clients and users to understand business goals, user needs and technical constraints around a solution
• Quickly become a subject matter expert within a given industry, understand relevant use cases and business processes
• Write clear user stories, epics and initiatives, manage the product backlog and prioritize the product backlog items
• Identify and manage dependencies and risks for delivery together with other team members
• Propose and clearly explain the Sprint goal and provide answers to any open questions
• Help the team stay focused on delivering the high value increment
• Facilitate the Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Backlog Refinements
• Conduct user acceptance tests and create product documentation
