Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in product management within an eCommerce environment
  • Proven expertise with headless eCommerce platforms such as Elastic Path Commerce Engine or similar technologies
  • Proficiency in content management solutions like Amplience or comparable systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven decision-making approach
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for eCommerce solutions
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, aligning with business value, customer needs, and technical constraints
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver impactful features and capabilities that enhance user experience
  • Ensure alignment between the product roadmap and strategic goals, adapting to feedback and market trends
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, fostering clear communication and collaboration
  • Support day-to-day system processes, investigating and resolving issues while recommending improvements
  • Develop detailed requirements for internal teams and vendors, ensuring alignment during feature development
  • Conduct user acceptance testing, create test data, and validate modifications before deployment
  • Document and maintain processes and procedures for future reference and team training

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agile/Scrum certification or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of modern eCommerce architecture and successful tech project management
  • Leadership experience in managing and delivering technical projects
  • Awareness of emerging eCommerce technology trends and their business applications
  • Broad understanding of programming concepts to effectively guide technical teams
  • Commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and team performance
  • Proficiency in integrating diverse software services for seamless functionality
  • Self-driven with a focus on prioritizing effectively in dynamic environments
  • Exceptional communication skills for simplifying complex ideas for diverse audiences
  • Retail industry experience
